"Touching the hearts and lives of single adults and single parent families with the love of Jesus Christ"

The Branch name is taken from John 15 in the Bible. We are sustained and nurtured as we are connected to the True Vine, Jesus Christ. As we draw our life from Him we will produce a bountiful harvest.

Our foundational scriptures include Hebrews 13:8, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, yes and forever"; John 14:6, "Jesus said, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me’"; and Hebrews 13:1-2, "let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels"; and James 1:27, "Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit the orphans* and widows* in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world".

 
 
  1. To build a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ using the Bible as the foundation   for ministry.
  2. To develop close, healthy, and nurturing friendships with each other.
  3. To provide a "safe" and welcoming atmosphere where singles, single parents and   their children may find hope and healing.
  4. To reach out to others in the Central Valley area, sharing God’s love.
  5. To encourage spiritual and emotional wholeness.
  6. To help people to discover their unique testimony, gifts and talents so they can   serve in God’s kingdom.
  7. To mobilize Christian service through a "team" approach to ministry with the intent to reproduce through apprenticing.
 









Pastors Randy & Joanie Dodds

Randy and Joanie Dodds pastor our singles, single parents and their children. They have two sons, Jared and Joel. They have been attending Valley Christian Center since 1975 and involved in the Branch since 1997, where Randy has been Worship Leader.

Branch Schedule:

The Branch meets on Fridays at 7:00pm (Dinner Night at 6:30 pm). There are activities for school age children every Friday and child care for birth through five years of age (call the Church Office for child care schedule). The first Friday of the month is dinner night (6:30 pm). Call the Church Office, (559) 252-1901, for the cost.
