The Children’s Ministries Team is committed to excellence in our ministry to children. We believe that the young lives entrusted to us are valuable gifts to our church family and that God has a plan and a purpose for each of them.

Children are our heritage. It is critical that we plant in them the best seed, water them with God’s Word and see that they grow into deeply rooted disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We strive to provide strong biblical training presented in an age appropriate manner with life application. We desire to partner with parents in seeing our children grow into spiritual champions!

Qualified People:

Each person who volunteers at Valley Christian Center must complete a confidential information form and be finger printed and be checked for any previous record of sexual misconduct or violent crimes. The confidential information form provides information that confirms that each volunteer has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and is a regular part of Valley Christian Center and is called by the Lord to serve.

Classroom Structure

Classes are structured so that we have teams of people working together to provide a quality teacher/child ratio at all levels. Classroom responsibilities are divided among the grade level team. A Lead Teacher in each classroom is responsible for spiritual oversight, order and structure for each class.

The School of Discipleship is a 1-2 year program for those students that are dring to be discipled and trained for effective service in the marketplace and in church ministry.

Our goal is to equip students between the ages of 18-25 in their personal lives, their spiritual lives and their future ministries. Each student will have the opportunity to develop key relationships with our Pastoral staff and additional spiritual and community leaders. They will be mentored and trained with opportunities to serve both in the church and in the community.

It is our desire to provide learning opportunities based in the classroom and in the field.

If you are wondering what to do with your life or what God is calling you to do, then the School of Discipleship may be for you.

The Burn Service is designed for people who are hungry and eager to learn more about God. Each service is intentionally focused upon three major elements: friendships, worship and teaching.

At The Burn Service you can expect to meet others like you in an environment that allows you to relax and be yourself as you grow in God. Our worship is real! Without a doubt The Burn Service exists to lead each person into the heart of worship - God! Words such as passion, truth and substance best describe its flavor and purpose. The teaching is relevant to the lives of our generation. It's all about where you are with God.

The Burn Service meets Sunday evenings @ 6:30pm in the Room 403

We believe in men! They are so vitally important to the church and to the Kingdom of God. Our desire is to help men discover their created purpose as designed by their loving Heavenly Father. Once they know Him and understand His destined purpose for their lives, they will love their wife and family, serve their community, and influence their world in a whole new way. We discover life together as men through a variety of small and large group gatherings.

baptism Water Baptism

On the last Sunday and one Wednesday of every other month, those who have come to faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord are given opportunity to publicly express their commitment in water baptism. We believe baptism by immersion best expresses the inward reality of dying to the old way of life without God and coming alive to new life in Christ.

Matthew 28:19 says “Go and make disciples in all nations, baptizing them…”
Sunday Morning: New Believer’s Baptism Class – 8:00am & 10:00am in the Family Room.
Baptism in the morning services – 8:45am & 10:45am.
