The Children’s Ministries Team is committed to excellence in our ministry to children. We believe that the young lives entrusted to us are valuable gifts to our church family and that God has a plan and a purpose for each of them.
Children are our heritage. It is critical that we plant in them the best seed, water them with God’s Word and see that they grow into deeply rooted disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We strive to provide strong biblical training presented in an age appropriate manner with life application. We desire to partner with parents in seeing our children grow into spiritual champions!
Qualified
People:
Each person who volunteers at Valley Christian Center must complete a confidential information form and be finger printed and be checked for any previous record of sexual misconduct or violent crimes. The confidential information form provides information that confirms that each volunteer has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and is a regular part of Valley Christian Center and is called by the Lord to serve.
Classroom Structure
Classes are structured so that we have teams of people working together to provide a quality teacher/child ratio at all levels. Classroom responsibilities are divided among the grade level team. A Lead Teacher in each classroom is responsible for spiritual oversight, order and structure for each class.

The School of Discipleship is a 1-2 year program for those students that are dring to be discipled and trained for effective service in the marketplace and in church ministry.
Our goal is to equip students between the ages of 18-25 in their personal lives, their spiritual lives and their future ministries. Each student will have the opportunity to develop key relationships with our Pastoral staff and additional spiritual and community leaders. They will be mentored and trained with opportunities to serve both in the church and in the community.
It is our desire to provide learning opportunities based in the classroom and in the field.
If you are wondering what to do with your life or what God is calling you to do, then the School of Discipleship may be for you.

We
believe in men! They are so vitally important
to the church and to the Kingdom of God. Our desire
is to help men discover their created purpose
as designed by their loving Heavenly Father. Once
they know Him and understand His destined purpose
for their lives, they will love their wife and
family, serve their community, and influence their
world in a whole new way. We discover life together
as men through a variety of small and large group
gatherings.
Battlezone prepares men to battle for their faith and to overcome personal challenges through accountability and spiritual trainig in the Word of God. It is a 12-week course that once completed allows men to be certified to lead their own group.
This event is usually held on the last Monday night of each month. It’s a great time for men to gather for fellowship, hear and uplifting message and just hang out.
An exciting men only event held in November at Hume Lake Christian Camp. It is a time where men can reawaken their zeal for Jesus the King and find common ground with other men who desire a life that glorifies God.
Small groups are open to every man hungry to grow deeper in his walk with Jesus through authentic interpersonal relationships with other brothers. Please contact the group leader and get connected today! Click here for a complete list of groups to choose from!

On the last Sunday and one Wednesday
of every other month, those who have come to faith in
